Safe Summer Day @ Marlborough Hospital

We’re excited to welcome back Safe Summer Fun Day this year! This event is a free child-oriented health and safety fair that features hands-on hospital exhibits.
- Bike helmet fitting tent where trained UMass Memorial Health – Marlborough Hospital caregivers properly fit and give away children’s bicycle helmets.
- Obstacle course
- Trackless train
- Music
- Balloon animal
- Games & Contests
- Inflatable axe throwing
• Safe Summer Fun Day is on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 10am to 2pm. This event is hosted on the Marlborough Hospital campus front lawn and in the parking lot.
• Free health related activity books will be available in several languages for our diverse attendees that emphasize the importance of literacy for good health and safety.
• Representatives from the fire department will be present with equipment to teach fire safety.
• Ambulances will be present so children can climb inside of these vehicles and talk to the health care professionals.
• Life Flight, the medical helicopter will arrive, and children can look inside this emergency medical vehicle and meet the highly trained physicians, pilots and nurses who staff it.
