For a small city, Marlborough’s events calendar really packs a big punch! From the region’s largest Labor Day Parade, to food festivals, music concerts, and a variety of family-friendly community gatherings, Marlborough’s events offer a little something for everyone. We welcome you to join the fun as we continue with these traditions for years to come.
Marlborough Food Trucks & Art Festival
The annual Marlborough Food Truck Festival includes the ARTS! We celebrate the city’s rich culture with interactive art installments, live bands and performances, an artist marketplace and more! Most of Main Street and the surrounding parking lots host the event, which includes touch-a-truck, games and raffles from our local community groups, and beer and cocktail offerings from local breweries and restaurants.
Marlborough Car Show
The annual Marlborough Car Show is one of the city’s premiere summer events. Organized by the United Brethren Masonic Lodge in Marlborough and the Push Rods Car Club of Waltham, this free, fun exhibit takes place on Main Street and features more than 250 classics, muscle cars, hot rods, exotics and antiques. It is also a fundraising event that has quietly raised more than $75,000 for various local and regional charities.
Labor Day Parade
The largest and most prestigious Labor Day Parade in New England, this annual celebration showcases the city’s shared community pride. Since its first run in 1952, participation has grown from just 12 marching units to an impressive variety of more than 150 bands, floats and entertainers. The parade stretches along a 1.7 mile route allowing space for all to enjoy.
Halloween Horribles’ Parade
Are your kids counting down the days until Halloween? Bring your spooky crew to Downtown Marlborough for a real treat. On the Thursday night before Halloween enjoy trick or treating from the Marlborough businesses that line Main Street then jump behind the Marlborough High School Marching Band as they make their way down the street and show off those costumes to the excited spectators.
