SUMMARY:5K Race for Prevention
DESCRIPTION:Join YSAP (Hudson Youth Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition) and MAP (Marlborough Alliance for Prevention) for a 5K Run\, Walk\, Roll and Stroll for Prevention. The goal is to raise awareness and funds to assist the organizations in their mission to educate and provide resources\, support and programming related to Substance Use Prevention. \nThe 5K is open to people of all ages and abilities. Medals will be awarded to top finishers for those who elect to “run” the 5K route.\nSaturday\, September 30\, 2023 \nEntry Fee: $30.00 – Individual (Online) / $15.00 Student (Online) / $35.00 (Day of Registration for All)\n5K will start and end at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School (main parking lot\, at 215 Fitchburg Street). Race route details/options listed below. \nDay of Registration/Check-In @ 8:00am\, 5K Race begins @ 9:00am\nEvent will be held rain or shine! Family friendly activities will be provided. \nAll those registered by August 25\, 2023 will receive a race day t-shirt!\nONLY those registered by September 27\, 2023\, will be eligible for raffle prizes.\nPRE-REGISTRATION IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED!!! Online registration will close at 11:59pm on September 27\, 2023. After this you may only register in person\, day of event.\nWhen registering participants should choose how they will participate in the race (run / walk).\nMore details on the 5K race will be emailed out to registered participants the week leading up to the event. \nFor general event questions and sponsorship opportunities please call Hudson Board of Health at 978-562-2020. \nEvent Registration is being handled via the Hudson Recreation Department. All those who register must create a “Community Account”\, if you have not previously registered for any programs with Hudson Recreation.
