SUMMARY:Stand Up Comedy Show at Apex Entertainment
DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, Oct. 27\, Comedy at Apex Entertainment Marlborough continues with Boston’s preeminent comedy star Lenny Clarke and “Superhero-by-Day\, Comedian-by-Night” Corey Manning. The evening is hosted by Dave Rattigan. \nAdvance sale tickets are $30 for show-only and $60 for dinner-show. Seating is limited. Show only tickets will be available at the door for $35 (cash only) if seats are available. Dinner-show ticket sales end at the end of the day on Thursday\, Oc. 26. \nThe delicious buffet meal includes: Mediterranean chicken\, rice\, couscous salad\, roasted vegetables\, Greek salad\, baked pita and an assortment of cookies and brownies. \nDoors open at 6 p.m. and dinner is served at 6:20 p.m.\, with showtime at 8 p.m. \nThis is the fourth comedy show presented by Scamps Comedy at Apex Entertainment\, including sold out shows on New Year’s Eve 2022 and another sellout Mother’s Day Brunch in May. \nLenny Clarke was working on a sitcom with Jon Cryer (Two and a Half Men) when the writer’s strike hit in spring 2023. He’s known nationally for his TV roles in Denis Leary’s Rescue Me and The Job\, as well as The John Larrouquette Show. In Boston\, he’s known as one of the first Boston comedy stars to hit it big\, and returns to his hometown to play concerts such as Comics Come Home\, make frequent appearances on Red Sox broadcasts\, and appear at major fundraising events. Clarke starred in his own short-lived network sitcom Lenny\, and in such TV shows as Contest Searchlight and It’s All Relative and movies like Halloween Kills\, Monument Ave.\, Fever Pitch and Southie. He’s done comedy on HBO showcases\, late night TV\, and remains a fixture on such shows as Jimmy Kimmel Live. \nTake a seat and put your drink in a location where you’re less likely to knock it over\, because as soon as Corey Manning descends upon the stage\, It’s on!!! If there is no energy in the room\, he brings it. If there is energy in the room\, Corey absorbs it and takes it to another level. Fresh off his performance in Tracy Morgan’s Picking Up The Pieces Tour\, Corey was featured on Nick Jr.s Mom Night Out Comedy Showcase\, appeared on NBCs Family Feud with Steve Harvey and Jamie Foxx’s Laughapalooza’s New Faces In Comedy. He known for his slick\, upbeat\, funny\, over-the-top comedy. \nKnown for his dead-pan delivery and quick\, dry wit\, Dave Rattigan is a New England comedian whose CD has received airplay on SiriusXM Satellite Radio and radio stations around the world. He’s headlined in the best clubs and theaters in New England\, opened for The Beach Boys and Nick DiPaolo\, and created the themed stand-up comedy show “How Men Think (Or Do They).” He’s appeared in regional television commercials on NESN. He’s written funny columns for the Boston Globe\, Christian Science Monitor and others and his video clips have run on Nickmom.com and Rooftop Comedy. He’s a regular at the Hampton Beach Comedy Festival and has appeared in the Boston Comedy Festival\, the Women in Comedy Festival\, and Salem Comedy & Spirits Festival.
